Tholpetty Wildlife Sanctuary or Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary
Is a beautiful destination located 20 km east of Mananthavady on the Kodagu Road. The jeep ride here offers brilliant opportunities to view various animal and bird species in their natural habitat. One gets to see herds of elephants, guars, deer, monkeys, tigers, leopards, bears etc

Banasura Lake & Boating

Kuruva Island & Bamboo Rafting

Pazhassi Raja Thomb & Park
Pazhassi Raja was known as Kerala Varma, He was a warrior prince and de facto head of the kingdom of Kottayam Malabar otherwise known as Cotiote, Kerala, India, between 1774 and 1805. He earned the epithet "Kerala Simham" ("Lion of Kerala") on account of his martial exploits.

GURUKULA BOTANICAL SANCTUARY
The Gurukula Botanical Sanctuary is dedicated to the plants of the Western Ghats, Founded in 1981 by Wolfgang Theuerkauf, the Sanctuary is a garden of wild plant species grown at the edge of a rainforest reserve.

Heritage Mosque ( Korome)

Thirunelli Temple

Pakshipathalam Bird Sanctuary
Pakshipathalam in Wayanad district is among the finest trekking spots in the entire country. At Pakshipathalam, one gets to walk through a thick evergreen forest that provides a safe haven to some of the rarest avian species. Ornithologists consider it a location of great interest and value. At 1,700 m above sea level, it is among the most frequented locations in the State

Brahmagiri Peak Trekking
The trek to Brahmagiri hills is one of the most popular treks in Wayanad and one of the few which strikes a balance between awesome views and being first-time-trekker-friendly. It takes more than 3 hours of an intense trek to reach the top of Brahamagiri, which is about at 1608 m high. Trek begins from the Forest department camp shed at Thirunelli and is 10 kms long walking. If you’re lucky and carry a binocular, climb the watchtower and you’d spot a herd of gaurs or elephants grazing on the valleys.

Kungichira Museum & Chira
According to legends, Pazhassi Raja, a native of Kottayam, Kannur, was staying near Kunkichira in Kunjom when he came to fight for Wayanad. Kunjom is the hometown of a brave warrior named Thalakkal Chandu who helped Pazhassi Raja in the battle against the British.

Theyyam Festivals ( North Kerala-Malabar)
The great stories of Kerala are often retold using art forms. It is here that our legends truly come to life. Theyyam is a famous ritual art form that originated in North Kerala which brings to life the great stories of our State. It encompasses dance, mime and music. It exalts the beliefs of the ancient tribals who gave a lot of importance to the worship of heroes and the spirits of their ancestors. The ceremonious dance is accompanied by the chorus of such musical instruments as Chenda, Elathalam, Kurumkuzal and Veekkuchenda.
